Parent Opinion
Recently we received results for our 2009 Parent Opinion Survey, which was distributed to 40 randomly selected families.
While we are pleased with the improvement in responses to 11 out of 18 aspects of our work, we are concerned about parent perceptions regarding behaviour, social skills and student safety. We would like to give you the opportunity to comment on these areas, especially if you did not get a chance to respond on the survey.
What do you think the school needs to do to improve parent perceptions regarding the behaviour, social skills and safety of our students?
(Please remember that your comments will be public.)

Happy and Healthy Unit of Work
This term our integrated unit of work in Rooms 6 and 7 is based on the theme ‘Happy and Healthy’. During this unit the students will use a matrix of possible activities. They enjoy having some choice in the activities they tackle and the matrix gives them this opportunity. The activities are not homework, but many children like to do extra work at home, so we have uploaded it onto the school blog to give them the opportunity to complete extra activities, if they are keen to do this. Families might like sharing some of the interesting links to websites with their children.

Twiler by Dylan and Skyler

The roof bends down. When the roof is up the letters shoot out. There are blasters on the machine to help it fly. It also has a letter sorting section where the letters are put in their correct spot. There is a bridge to separate two parts of the machine. The letters come through on section and out the other.
